As a prudent investor we strive for a diverse portfolio balancing risk, growth and cash flow. Truly disruptive technological innovations drive progress and have the potential to fundamentally advance life, business and economics but are inherently risky and require patience and nurturing. They also need sophisticated underlying infrastructure in order to be implemented at scale, which is a challenge on the African continent. Through our investments we aim to advance the technologies that we believe will drive disruption over the next decade while simultaneously foster an environment that facilitates their rapid adoption. That is why AYO’s investment portfolio and pipeline includes all technology “touch points” from connectivity infrastructure and hardware supply to software development and artificial intelligence.
