The AYO Technology Innovation Fund is aimed at companies operating and innovating across the entire digital and technology ecosystem. We invest in organisations that are vested in technology – those that are creating new technologies or using technology in novel ways to solve pressing business and everyday needs here, in South Africa, and in the greater African context. The fund will evaluate and consider businesses working in the fields of Internet of Things (IOT), fin-tech crypto-currencies, artificial intelligence (AI), eHealth and robotics.

The AYO Technology Innovation Fund invests in established organisations that are looking for second-round funding, and which have a proof of concept already in operation, but require scaling. The ultimate aim is to build capacity throughout the AYO Group and expand not only within the confines of South Africa, but across borders and into Africa and beyond.
